The Brown Agency, Merger Of Two Industry Leaders

In 2015 two of the largest talent agencies in the state of Texas merged to create one full service agency that can now service all aspects of talent from Dallas to Austin and even with a presence in Los Angeles. Heyman-Talent South was acquired by Wilhelmina Austin. Once the acquisition was complete these merged companies changed their name to The Brown Agency. This merger made The Brown Agency one of the few full service talent agencies in the entire state of Taxes and the only full service agency in Austin Texas.

In August of 2010 Justin Brown launched Wilhelmina Austin. It quickly became a leader in the Texas talent industry. Justin Brown has an extensive work history within the talent industry; he worked his way through college as a model. He was mostly known for modeling lucky brand rocker jeans, Lucky would even design the jeans to fit his particular body shape. While in college Justin studied business management He discovered he enjoyed working behind the cameras more and eventually landed in “development and placement” Within this position he would find and train aspiring talent in hopes to get them to the next level in their careers. In 2005 Justin Brown moved to Austin Texas and started his own talent development business that was strictly monitored by the Texas Workforce Commission. In 2008 there was a surge in runways shows and commercials. Justin started his full service JB Models and Talent which was licensed by Wilhelmina national agency in 2010.

Justin Brown plays a prominent role within the merger of Wilhelmina Austin and Heyman Talent South. Justine Brown’s new role is Chief Executive Officer and President of The Brown Agency. The merger of these two talent power houses comes with the theatrical talent of Michael B. Bonnée. Michael is the founder of Heyman Talent South and finds pride in joining with Wilhelmina Austin to produce some of the best talent available to the professional talent industry.

The Brown Agency launched in 2015 and provides talent to some of the most popular brands in the world. A formal launch party for the merger of these two talent power house agencies was in December. A few brands of their clients are L’Oréal, Louis Vuitton, Toyota and Dell.
